Student Meetings

General Meetings

DSC holds a weekly meeting to address current agenda on student issues and events. All general meetings are open for attendance by any student. Students may contact dsc@mit.edu to place an issue on the weekly agenda.

Pre-Town Hall Meetings

Pre-Town Hall meetings are held in November and March to prepare the agenda for that semester’s town hall. All students are welcome to attend and provide input.

Town Hall

DUSP holds one town hall each semester, typically in November and March of each year. Town halls are designed to provide a common space for faculty, staff, and students to discuss departmental issues, raise concerns, identify potential solutions, and recognize work that has occurred over the term. The town hall agenda is typically based on concerns voiced by students and faculty in the weeks beforehand, and is posted publicly the week of the town hall. All members of the DUSP community are strongly urged to attend these important meetings.

Minutes from Town Hall are posted onto Plaza.
